Phonetography Trustworthy, though sometimes left behind, my various phones over the past four years have accompanied me to countless places and through every state of mind. Stilettoettes Though the heel has been the topic of heated discussion, shoes in general have served as a marker of lifestyle, class and gender. However, no other shoe has been linked to sexuality, sophistication or frivolity as much as a pair of heels. Though fraught with contradiction, heels have are loved for their ability to enhance the wearer's appearance by giving the illusion of longer legs, smaller feet and defining leg muscles while simultaneously inhibiting movement... and occasionally alluding to an imminent topple. The higher the heel, the more obvious the paradox. Alas, despite the hazards of heel-wearing, countless people seek out the perfect pair of portable pedestals to give them the lift they're looking for.
